Our Mission

Hope For Horses works exclusively with horses that have been neglected, abused, or abandoned by their owners.  Because of this, we do not accept donated or forfeited horses.  Our mission is to rehabilitate and re-home these horses in safe and loving environments.  We endorse responsible horse ownership and carefully screen potential fosters and adopters.

A Call For Help

On Monday, January 7, Hope for Horses rescued 13 horses from Pierce County.  Horses on the property were observed to be in mud up to their bellies and eating their wooden feeders and feces. Hope for Horses acted in cooperation with Pierce County Animal Control and local volunteers when they removed 3 stallions, one yearling and 9 other horses from a property located near Tacoma.  We thank the community and Stubbs at KMPS for their assistance and support.

As heard on KMPS with Stubbs:

Now that these horses are out of harms way, Hope for Horses needs YOUR help...  read more
